A hydrogen refueling mechanism is proposed that will use UHF (Ultra High Frequency) Wireless Communication to establish a link between an H2 refueling station and a vehicle. The mechanism will use an RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) and pattern recognition based algorithm to determine the proper vehicle to be refueled. This technology will add robustness and intelligence in the refueling station, which will minimize vehicle-station cross talks. A breif description of the system operation is provided below.
