Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Method to find files on filelist easily by showing attached images in Ballon Help
Method to find files on filelist easily by showing attached images in Ballon Help.
When we need to find out a specific file on the filelist, we sort the files by date or by name first, and start the application to open the file. If the file opened is not the file which we are looking for, we stop the application to close the file, and re-open other files until we find the correct one.
When we need to find a specific file, we usually remember a part of the files by images. The images are sometimes a graph, a table, a diagram, or colored characters. When we point a file on the filelist, if these images in the balloon help come up, it will help us finding files without starting the applications.
To implement this invention, an image of a part of the files needs to be attached into the properties of the file. The image is not a full image of the file, but a part of the file.
Operation: 1. Open the file, and choose the area which you have a strong impression on the file. Usually, these areas are figures, diagrams, bold characters or colored lines. These areas would remind you the whole file later.
2. Take a picture of the area and save it as a bitmap file, and attach it to the property area of the file. Automation tools would help your easy operation.
