Since the layout data (disposition and attribute information on a character or a photograph) of newspaper and magazine were saved in a peculiar form by a various layout system, if you have no peculiar system, it cannot display and edit the layout data. Moreover, when changing into the data for printing or distribution on a network, the peculiar system was required. In other words, the layout system which can be used was limited. On this idea, the interchangeability of layout data is raised by saving a character and a picture independently, and narrowing the range of an interpretation of a display or an output. By using the data which was consistent from the layout to the output, a user can choose the layout and the output systems with competitive power. Consequently, various users can create layout data using various layout systems in various aspects of affairs, and It comes to be able to perform an output as displayed.
