Tivoli Framework web access via external web application
Disclosed is a method to provide web access into the CORBA (Common Broker Request Broker Architecture) based environment of the IBM Tivoli Framework product, IBM Tivoli Framework is a trademark product of International Business Machines Corporation. This method provides a manner with which to run CGI scripts and fetch web content from the Tivoli Server. The method consists of having a simple shell CORBA method in the Object Dispatcher that invokes the specified CGI script from a pre-defined location and a file fetch method to returns static web content. These two methods can be invoked from a web application and can be used to remotely execute commands on the Tivoli Server from a web browser.
