Summary of the invention The current security devices in use to protect the portable PC’s can be broken very easily at PC attachment level. The idea is to have a ‘smart’ security plug for the attachment to the PC to generate an alarm in case of steal. State of the art The security device currently available to protect portable PC’s is made of a steel cable with a cable loop on one hand and a key lock mechanism on the other hand. The cable loop is attached to a leg of a furniture for example while the key lock mechanism attaches to the portable PC. The weakness of this security cable resides at the PC attachment level. The key lock mechanism can be broken very easily and therefore anyone can steal the portable PC..
