Disclosed is a mobile laptop computer with stationary docking base with features that enhance the workplace ergonomics ergonomics when used in a desktop setting. The invention solves the problem of outfitting mobile employees with computers, and providing a space-efficient and cost-effective a ergonomically improved solution for stationary office use. A company could provide the employee with a mobile PC (laptop), with one or more replicator bases, for example one for home use and one for office use. Or a replicator base could be provided in a satellite office for visiting sales personnel, all of whom have the same style of laptop. No additional monitors would be required: the laptop screen is visible in desktop use, and has the height and tilt adjustments for good ergonomics.
