Disclosed is a method for notification to Customer of the notebook PC is resuming from the sleeping state but some reason, in order to protect the accidentally corruption of the system/built-in device like HDD. Current PC system and Operating System supports the following unattended resuming function from the sleeping state or off state. Wake On Lan TCO (Total Cost Ownership) is now considered as very important. This WOL is a way to contribute this TCO. Using this function, the network administrator can the PC, which is connected to the network, booted up, update the system firmware, device driver, or application remotely, then turning off the system again
