Abstract

This invention delays action or disables links from being taken until an animation completes or cycles. Web site providers may use this invention as a courtesy to their advertisers. In its simplest mode, this invention uses existing events to track when the page is loaded and because the period of an animation is known, java script is used to delay or ignore action until after the animation is thought to have cycled. This would improve the odds that a surfer would see an entire ad. To make this feature much easier for a website developer, the following browser features would be enabled: An event that goes off when an image animation/audio/video clip completes
