Disclosed is a system related to mobile phone technology aimed to promote the safe use of phones while driving. Safety wise, a very dangerous task that is done while driving is dialing a number on one's cell phone. This has of course been made easier by such inventions as "Voice dialing" where one can simply say the name of the person they want to call and that person's number is dialed for them. However, one of the things people do as they drive on the road is try to save someone's number into their phone book, this of course is very difficult and dangerous. Many times, the cell transmission may not be the best, and the caller will ask the person they are talking to" repeat the number." The proposed system aims to make the process of adding numbers received much easier. The proposed system will allow one's phone to enter a "Learn mode" by the click of a cell phone button or saying a predefined phrase, such as "learning mode". At that point, the phone will be ready to listen to incoming DTMF signals. The best way to describe this system would probably be an example scenario: Bob and Joe are talking. Bob is in his car and is trying to talk to Joe.
