"Go Blank and Mute" instantly button
A device can instantly make a display monitor go blank and mute the system sound. This is helpful to users who have sensitive information displayed on their screen and receive an unexpected visitor. For hearing impaired users, the sensitive information is being read aloud. The user simply presses one button to stop the sound and make the display go blank.
This is also helpful for the television industry. Viewers watching material not suitable for children can press one button to mute the television and make the display go blank if a child unexpectedly walks into the room.
