Videotelephony offers new possibilities of customer communication for companies that want to offer visual presentations of their products. Today, this has to be done using the internet, but the QoS (Quality of Service) is not guaranteed and additionally a connection to the internet is mandatory. A video call center combines the features of video/image transmission and telephony connection. The images and videos of the products are stored at the center. A video call server handles the incoming calls and presents a menu of the different services to the user. The interaction with the menu can be implemented using DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) tones. If the user wishes to see a product, the corresponding videos and/or images are restored from the server and presented to the user.
