Abstract

Carrier bead rotation within the development zone of a magnetic brush system may be enhanced by forcing the entire brush fibers to move or rotate by propagating a magnetic wave through the development zone relative to the roller, The propagating magnetic wave may be created electrically or by tiny moving bar magnets.
