Abstract
A method of pumicing photoreceptors to remove minor defects and scratches from the photoreceptor surface by removing a modicum of selenium therefrom~. The photoreceptor is rotated at a given speed while a conventional advanceable toner cleaning web is applied against it under pressure~ The web is impregnated with a pumicing agent, and automatically pumices the drum until the scratch or defect is removeth
