Abstract

In order to prevent unauthorized access to an electrophoto-~ graphic printing machine, the covers must be frequently locked. The foregoing may be achieved by a wrench operated cover lock. Cover 10 is locked in position by rotating nut 12 which engages pin 14 passing through square bar 16. Rotation of nut 12 causes pin 14 to translate on the camined surface 18 thereof. Translation of pin 14 moves bar 16 in the direction of arrow 20. Translation of bar 16 causes arm 22 substantially normal thereto to move in the direction of arrow 20. Arm 22 has a locking portion thereof adapted to engage the square hole or bracket 24 on cover 10. In this way, movement of arm 22 locks and unlocks cover 10,
