Referring to Fig, 1, an elongated member includes a sub-strate 1 having a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive 4, a protective sheet 5 over the adhesive 4, a layer of high tack adhesive 2 and a centrally disposed layer of low tack adhesive. A typical high tack adhesive may be a mixture of polyethylene, a rosin acid, and a metal salt of a car-boxylic acid, present in weight proportions of 80/10/10.
