Abstract
A single blade coater is proposed for a lithographic press wherein the temperature of the inking blade and the master cylinder are controlled. In the figure, cooling medium 1 in reservoir 3 is pumped by pump 5 through conduit 7 and 7- to the master cylinder 9 and hollow blade 11, respectively- The medium is returned by means of conduit 13 to reservoir 3- The master cylinder inks the wetted plate on roller 15 which, in turn, transfers the ink to copy substrate l7-
