Xerox Disclosure Journal
The disclosure relates to fusing toner images 9 to copy substrates such as plain paper 10 or the like. The fuser comprises a plurality of rolls 12, 14 and 16 cooperating to form at least two nips 18 and 20. The rolls are pressure engaged, pressure being the sole means by which the images are affixed to the substrate. The pressure exerted in each nip is insufficient to effect fusing of the images. Thus, the copy substrates must be passed through both nips in order that fusing is effected.
