Proposed is a tool for recharging Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU) assemblies in the field. Presently, Field Service Engineers independently rotate three individual drive shafts in different directions. The operation is awkward, dirty, and inefficient, as well as being capable of breaking an auger gear. The proposed tool is a special, compact field tool having a self-locating plastic frame containing a gear train designed to rotate each keyed drive shaft in its proper direction for optimum removal and recharge efficiency.
