The present invention relates to wearable coils that are designed to be worn and be comfortable for extended periods of time. The coils may be placed on different parts of the body, e.g., the fingers, toes, arms, legs, trunks, head, and neck, among others. The coils may be stretchable and adjustable. The coil electrical circuitry can contain a tuning circuitry that provides impedance matching for the coil to be powered by the powering and telemetry device at the frequency of operation. The tuning frequency can be used as a filter to attenuate certain frequencies.
