Abstract

A program, Shared Folders File Recovery, is disclosed in order to provide personal computer users and applications using the Shared Folders file server with a general transparent data integrity solution. Shared Folders File Recovery is a general solution to enhancing personal computer data integrity because of its applicability to all personal computer users and applications. File recovery is provided to a user or application either automatically or through a prompted interface without application changes required. Shared Folders File Recovery can be used to recover damaged files. A damaged file is a file that was closed under abnormal conditions causing the data in the file to be uncertain.
