XDBX is an application that presents a modern graphical interface to the DBX symbolic debugger. This interface improves the general presentation and usability of DBX. XDBX was targeted for the IBM RT PC* running IBM's proprietary UNIX** operating system AIX***. XDBX uses graphical icons to convey specific information to the user during a debugging session. The information conveyed consists of conditional and unconditional breakpoints, and the current source line and/or assembly instruction to be executed. Within this interface, stop sign icons indicate unconditional breakpoints, yield sign icons indicate conditional breakpoints, and double arrow icons indicate the current source line and/or assembly instruction to be executed. See the illustration of the icon types. * Trademark of IBM Corp.
