A technique is described whereby an automatic handling device enables conveyer magazines, containing circuit boards, to be positioned for automatic handling. The device eliminates hand loading and through the use of magazine stacking and automatic feeding will decrease the loss of critical circuit modules. It also provides a method whereby different sizes and shapes of circuit conveyer magazines can be used. The automatic handling device consists of main magazine frame base unit 10, as shown in Fig. 1, which has the capability of loading conveyer circuit board magazines into both side stack frames 11 and 12, as shown in Fig. 2. A typical circuit board magazine will hold between ten and twenty circuit boards.
