Disclosed is a circuit which automatically synchronizes a test pattern and the video raster of an electron (E)-beam tester, resulting in the striped appearance known as voltage coding [*]. The circuit can be used with a variety of pattern generators. Additional features of the circuit extend the usefulness of voltage coding.
