Parameterized Support for Various Telephony Requirements in Public and Private Telecommunication Networks

An extendible and system-configurable architecture has been invented to support a variety of the requirements on table-driven basis. This architecture has several notable properties: It It includes structures for enforcing the requirements for automatic calling and other connection types, It relieves users (who generally do not know these rules) from having to contact their telephone network administrators, and It is extendible, and can support both public and private networks. Furthermore, this invention provides a means for protection against mistreatment of the telephone network switches, even in a multitasking environment.
