A method for gating "Transmit Data" with CCITT circuits 106 and 107 is disclosed. CCITT V.24 standard recommends that "Transmit Data" (103) be negated if the "Ready for Sending" (106) or "Data Set Ready" (107) circuits should deactivate. Since the recommendation was stated as "immediately," a hardware gating circuit was implemented to ensure that this standard and regulatory agency requirements were met.
