Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Scrolling Fields in Icons
Provided is a technique for scrolling information within an icon to overcome
the deficiencies of displaying static text in icons.
Conventional icons provide a small amount of fixed text information to identify
the object represented by the icon. Provide a scrollable field in icons to allow the
user to select desired information to display in the icon. The information can
include other descriptive data instead of a file name for the object. This
information is used to clarify or expand the meaning of a particular instance of
icons which can be repeated.
The benefits to the user are improved speed in identifying specific objects, as
well as reduced worksteps in trying to find specific items which use the same
icon with a fixed and small text field.
