This article discloses the use of cluster objects to organize knowledge objects (KOs) (e.g., rules, sources, etc.) in a knowledge base (KB) in a hierarchical structure. Cluster objects also allow mass editing by allowing an attribute of an object to be specified once at a cluster level and have that attribute inherited by the individual compilable objects (usually leaves) that will be passed to the compiler.
