This device allows the transmission of digitized voice and data over a network using a time division multiplex (TDM) without buffering and whatever the clock of the link is. The configuration is dynamic and allows clock speed variations. The framing arrangement and the coder clock are continuously adapted to match the data and voice throughput with the link speed. The figure details the architecture of the device.
