Abstract

The present method makes it possible to decide whether smooth scroll operation is satisfactorily done in a logic card for a display terminal by counting the number of video pulses, each of which makes a dot appear on a display screen. With reference to Fig. 1, a logic card 2 receives commands for smooth scroll from a card tester 4 which can be comprised of a personal computer. Then the card 2 provides the tester 4 with a video signal which includes video pulses, each of which makes a dot appear on a display screen so that a desired character is displayed.
