Object Area Sharing Rules in Page Composition

Mixed object document content architecture (MO:DCA) rules require "share" attributes to be associated with object areas that are to contain data. These "share" attributes determine which object areas are to grow or shrink depending on the amount of data mapped to given areas intersecting with other areas. Providing object areas with "share" attributes permits the specification of an object area formatting directive at the MO:DCA data stream level independent of the type and amount of subsequent object data.
