This invention allows a controlled and repetitive shaving of all the pins of a MC module in one run. The flatness and regularity of the tips is equivalent before and after shaving. Now turning to the drawing, which shows a rail supporting a mask and a clamp. A matrix is sliding between the rail and the mask. A MC module is positioned in the mask through the clamp (step 1). The scissors effect is obtained by pushing the matrix (step 2). According to a significant aspect of this disclosure, the final pin length depends only on the thickness of the mask.
