This process insures that microweld chip electrodes are separated by a uniform distance within necessary specifications. One of the concerns in fabricating microweld chips is making certain that the insulating layer between the electrodes be uniform in thickness and be consistent with the specifications for the apparatus. In this method, a green ceramic sheet is initially prepared which utilizes particles of glass and alumina combined with a suitable resin binder.
