Micro Circuit Probing System

The micro-circuit probing system utilizes a probe mask 1 with precision holes 2 (Fig. 1) drilled in a stable epoxy glass laminate material. Three locating pins 3 (Fig. 2) are positioned on the sides and bottom of the probe mask and are aligned to three corresponding location holes in the desired circuit board. The periphery of the probe mask is encompassed with six hold-down thumb screws 4 which retain the probe mask to the circuit board and also space the probe mask a specific height from the surface of the circuit board by means of stand-off bushings 5 which captivate the thumb screws 4. The precision holes in the mask correspond to the signal, ground and voltage pads on the circuit board.
