Abstract

The diphenyl enamines of substituted phenyl and diphenyl acetaldehydes (structure I) offer significant advantages as transport layers. They are more efficient as far as photoconductor electrical behavior, and stable chemically. They are also readily synthesized. They are useful in electrophotography with a variety of charge generation layers, such as chlorodiane blue and squarylium dyes. (Image Omitted)
