Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Cover Section for Paper Opening of a Printer
A cover section for the paper opening of a printer serves as a paper table
when opened and actuates a main power switch when transferred between the
closed and the open positions.
Referring to Fig. 1, a cover section 10 is hinged to the main printer cover 12,
for example, using a set of pins 14 (Fig. 2), and is moveable between a closed
position covering the paper opening 16 and an open position (shown). In the
open position, the cover section 10 is positioned to act as a support or table for
entering or exiting paper (not shown). The cover section 10 additionally serves
as a switch lever and includes projections 18 and 20 that interact with a notched
actuator blade 22 of a switch 24 (the off position is indicated in phantom).
To provide protection from unauthorized printer use, a lock (not shown) may
be provided for retaining the cover section 10 in the closed position.
