Ring Access Control To Bus Local Network

For a local communication system interconnecting a plurality of stations it is suggested to provide a two-wire data bus for data transfers and a parallel two-wire token ring for regulating access to the data bus by a circulating token. This allows one to combine the advantages of both, i.e., bus and ring networks, in one system.
