Abstract

A novel method of fabricating an AC plasma display panel utilizes conductors woven into a mesh configuration rather than in situ conductor arrays. In conventional AC plasma display panels, conductor arrays are formed on a pair of glass substrates, which are then overcoated with dielectric, sealed, evacuated, and filled with an ionizable gas. The conductor arrays are disposed substantially orthogonal to each other, the intersections of conductor pairs defining gas cells.
