Abstract

A cold plate has a metal body that provides a flat horizontal surface hat supports electronic components that are to bs cooled. The body has three-quarter grooves that project from its lower surface and grip a serpentine tube that carries cooling water. The body is wedge-shaped so that the lower surface slants in a direction to permit the cooling water to drain from the tube.
