Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Printer Paper Feed Mechanism
A paper feed mechanism is provided which enables either roll paper or
fanfold paper to be fed to a thermal printer.
The paper feed mechanism comprises a first tray 10 (Fig. 1) mounted on the
thermal printer 11. The first tray includes a rear extension 12 which includes
notches 14 for supporting a roll 16 of thermal print paper. The rear extension 12
provides sufficient room so that any conventional size roll of thermal print paper
can be mounted. Rubber ring spacers 18 (Fig. 2) are provided to properly
position and secure roll 16 during printing.
The paper is fed to the printer paper 20 and exits the printer through an
upstanding feeder guide 22. The printed output is directed from guide 22 to a
second tray 24 mounted above tray 10 for refolding as the printed sheets emerge
from the printer.
The paper feed mechanism can also feed fanfold thermal paper from the first
tray 10 through the printer for printing and into the second tray 24 for refolding to
a fanfold configuration. Thus, the mechanism provides choice in the type of
paper to be used in the printer as well as a convenient mechanism to collect the
printed output sheets in an orderly fashion. If desired, tray 24 can be made
removable for ease in temporarily storing the printed output sheets.
