The keybuttons, keybutton springs and contact pads of a molded spring keyboard are molded together in a single mold, and kick-out feet associated with each keybutton are molded in a separate mold. A first set of molds are utilized to create the first two rows of the keyboard and a second set of molds are utilized to create the other three rows. The lower portion of each keybutton is the same width as its molded spring, thus eliminating any interference with other springs when a keybutton is depressed. A simple frame completes the keyboard unit.
