The current switch receiver circuit derives its reference voltage (VR) and current switch current (ICS) from the network consisting of resistors R1 and R2 and diode DA. Transistor T4 in conjunction with diode DA acts as a current mirror to provide current switch current ICS. Resistors Rl and R2 are selected to establish VR(nominal) = 1.05 V, which is the mid point of the minimum input voltage swing shown. This circuit exhibits a DC noise tolerance of 300 MV (3 sigma) at both the input levels shown.
