Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

The drawing shows a typewriter ribbon cartridge with a supply spool 1
mounted for unwinding rotation in the cartridge. Ribbon 3 exits the supply spool
area through port 5, is guided by internal posts 7, and exits the cartridge through
Ribbon 3 extends outside the cartridge, where in use it is mounted to be
typed upon, and enters the cartridge through port 11. It is guided across a post
13, and then enters the nip between gear 15 and gear 17, having outer gear
teeth in mesh.
Ribbon 3 is firmly grasped by the meshing teeth of the gears. At each ribbon
feed operation during typing, one of the gears is positively turned a
predetermined amount by mechanism in the typewriter. Take-up of the ribbon is
by the gears stuffing the ribbon randomly into the cartridge.
A flexible separator 19 is a thin elastomer (rubber) attached to the cartridge
internally. Separator 19 at all times prevents the stuffed ribbon from entering the
area occupied by the supply ribbon while being moved by the push of the stuffed
ribbon to allow the space for receiving the stuffed ribbon to increase as the
supply ribbon is used. Additionally, separator 19 prevents jamming of the stuffed
ribbon into the exit port 9.
