Abstract

The coronas used to charge the photoconductor in a xerographic copying machine produce ozone as a by-product of their electrical discharges. Machine space can be used efficiently for filtering out the ozone by incorporating the air flow path and housing the ozone filters in the normally empty photoconductor (PC) drum.
