Rational Function Interpolation of the Imaginary Axis of the Complex Plane

An algorithm is presented, for the time-domain realization of an impeda matrix, that can be used with existing time-domain circuit analysis programs. Given the real and imaginary parts of a network function as a function of angular frequency, the algorithm provides a way to find a rational function of s that agrees with the network impedance on the imaginary axis of the complex s-plane.
