Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Diagnostics Algorithm for Image Scanner
This article describes the use of a prearranged test chart and an algorithm
for performing a test of an image scanner in a facsimile terminal.
This algorithm is a method to diagnose the image scanner automatically,
scanning the prearranged test chart, analyzing the characteristics of the image,
and judging whether the scanner device is good or bad synthetically in point of
skew, distortion, and registration.
Scan the test chart shown in Figure 1 by m lines, and express the image in
two-dimensional matrix D.
