This is a method for locking a printed circuit card 1 to its guidance framework 2 via a card holder 15. The card, which has integrated circuit devices thereon, is mounted in a main support frame which forms an enclosure for the card and its holder. Such cards have spring connectors on the top edge 5 and on the bottom edge (not shown) which engage pins on other printed circuit board connectors. The friction between the card and the associated guidance framework 2 and the friction between the card and the bottom associated connectors are used to retain the card in the main support frame.
