Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Apparatus For Rotating Matrix Printer Wires
Printing tips of matrix printer wires are caused to wear evenly by
incrementally rotating the wires during each printing stroke.
The hammer impact end of a wire 1, housed in housing 2, is
provided with a spring coil 3. Cooperating with coil 3 for
maintaining wire 1 in housing 2 is disk 4 which is generally conical
in shape. For printing, a hammer 5 is to impact disc 4 for driving
wire 1 to the left. If hammer 5 impacts disc 4 at a slightly off
center location, a slight rotational force will be applied to disc 4.
For positively rotating wire 1 upon rotation of disc 4, wire 1 can
be connected to disc 4 by any suitable means.
