A four-bit multiplying digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with unidirect current output feeds a current mirror which performs voltage level shift and current reversal. The mirror can be switched off, if required, to provide zero output irrespective of input conditions and feeds a switchable input operational amplifier which generates output voltage signals of the required gain switchable to either polarity for all digital input values.
