Transparent Refresh of Dynamic Random Access Memories

Dynamic random-access memories (RAMs) while possessing several advantages must still be refreshed periodically to avoid data loss. The use of a transparent refresh which occurs simultaneously with an access of memory will increase storage bandwidth while still avoiding any loss of data. This refresh method is accomplished as described hereafter.
