Concept Search - What can I type?
For a concept search, you can enter phrases, sentences, or full paragraphs in English. For example, copy and paste the abstract of a patent application or paragraphs from an article.
Concept search eliminates the need for complex Boolean syntax to inform retrieval. Our Semantic Gist engine uses advanced cognitive semantic analysis to extract the meaning of data. This reduces the chances of missing valuable information, that may result from traditional keyword searching.

Self Locking Eccentric Adjustment
A self-locking eccentric adjustment facilitates accurate adjustment of a
member without requiring the loosening of parts to make the adjustment.
Member 11 is accurately positioned in the direction of arrows 13 through the
action of eccentric 15. Once the position of member 11 is obtained, the position
of eccentric 15 is maintained by the clamping force provided by spring washer 17. The length of the shoulder on screw 19 is dimensioned so that when the
shoulder bottoms on the mounting surface 21, spring washer 17 is clamped
between member 11 and the head 23 of eccentric 15. The clamping force
provided by the spring washer 17 overcomes any rotational tendencies of the
eccentric 15 or member 11, thus maintaining their position once adjusted. It is
noted that a part to be adjusted could also be mounted on the eccentric 15, and
this part would also retain its position.
